हाल ही मेंExercise MILANके दौरान भारत के रक्षा मंत्री ने अंतरराष्ट्रीय समुदाय से समुद्र में उत्पन्न हो रही जटिल और परस्पर जुड़ी चुनौतियों से प्रभावी ढंग से निपटने का आह्वान किया।

आज समुद्री सुरक्षा केवल पारंपरिक नौसैनिक शक्ति तक सीमित नहीं है, बल्कि यह भू-राजनीति, साइबर सुरक्षा, पर्यावरण, और वैश्विक आपूर्ति श्रृंखला से भी गहराई से जुड़ी है।
